Born out of frustration

At Handled, we know first-hand how miserable a bad onboarding can be. The company grew out of the personal frustration of our founder, Bob Dijs.

Years ago, he started a field sales job. On his very first day, his laptop didn’t appear until the afternoon — and then he had to go round asking busy colleagues to set up his accounts. Rather than feeling welcome, he felt like a nuisance. It took four hours before he could do any actual work. And the car he badly needed for the job? That arrived three weeks later.

It wouldn’t be the last onboarding to go that badly. At other companies he later saw that offboarding was often organised even more clumsily — sometimes former employees could still get into important systems months after leaving.

And so the seed was planted… and in time, Handled was born.

We decided: we’re going to fix this

We now specialise entirely in building automated workflows that make employee on- and offboarding run flawlessly. No more scattered tasks and manual data entry: every step happens automatically, on time and error-free.

How we work

Why us?

1
100% focus on on- & offboarding

These processes are complex — they cut right across HR, finance, operations and IT. That’s why we focus on nothing else. We know the common systems, scenarios and pitfalls inside out.

2
Radical transparency

The IT world is held together by vague quotes and surprise invoices. We want no part of that. We’re open about what we do and what it costs — before we start, you know exactly where you stand.

3
Proactive management

Changes in your systems can break your workflows. We don’t wait for you to ring us with an error message: we monitor your workflows around the clock and fix problems proactively — often before you’ve noticed anything was wrong.
